here doesn't feel so right right now...  so many things feel out of place, the guilt and the constant stabbing of sadness with every waking sunrise alone. where is the answer? surely you can't be the only source of happiness! its the feeling that drives me out, kicking down the door and running away. Away from you I will go, as far as one can go, by foot, by bus, by plane, by boat....into the refuge and comforts of nature. I can't wait much longer to return back out to the mountains and snow.. to forget about this feeling..this feeling of being unwanted that i cannot shake. the answer is not here.

late night shows are great especially when your friend is one of the stars! Connor put on a great song with his friend Dan at the Nyala tonight! There was everything I needed  to keep my happy for hours! Great friends..(lots of friends), beautiful venue, excellent music and beer! Haha. On a serious note- take a gander at their music, its really good. My personal favourite of the night was Connor & Dan's cover of "Crazy" by barkley.

end of the week at last though not the weekend yet. still got to spend some time studying. it is quite tiring to think that another week will come quickly and that winter break is so far away... it was nice to see some great people tonight though it was online. I miss my friends that live so distant from me it sucks to think about them all the time. You miss that hug, that high five, that feeling of safety when your with them when your separated for so long. the little things taken for granted! When will I get to travel? Soon I hope when I am not tied down by books.. (usch).. bring on friday!

Had much fun at the game today. Canucks playin the Flames! It was quite exciting despite the fact vancouver's heavy hitters weren't on the ice tonight. Plenty of fights but not enough beer...

monday..

had dinner with sister today! it was nice catching up. it seems like people get so caught up they dont even have time for family. Its always good to remember to slow down and think of the people who love you and tell them that its a pleasure of having them as a part of your life. smiles are free too.

andrei's back from the island! took the time to meet up with the holmes and had a some good old fashion fun. I know its a thursday but what the heck. Tonight, was filled with awkward silences, breaking balls and best of all yelling incoherent phrases in the pub. I think these are a few of the little moment I will remember for a long time. Recently, I dont think I have ever been so happy seeing the rain roll into the city. It was quite nice. A great break from all the baking heat that vancouver has been having these past few days! Friday's the day off! My weekend begins early! who wants to party?? ;))
